María Salinas

Background

María Salinas serves as Chair of the Board of Metro Spaces. She brings an international background in hospitality, luxury travel, executive-event strategy, operational planning, vendor management, and budget oversight. Her experience is rooted in the design and delivery of high-quality guest and stakeholder experiences for global hospitality and travel organizations.

Hospitality Experience

María currently manages the planning and financial execution of more than 24 annual domestic and international programs at Associated Luxury Hotels International, including exclusive C-suite events. Her hospitality experience also includes meetings and events planning for Virtuoso, a global luxury-travel network, and event planning for JW Marriott Marquis Miami Hotel Beaux Arts. These roles have required international supplier coordination, contract review, budget management, guest-experience design, and rigorous operational delivery.

Education

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education in Montreux, Switzerland. María is also a Certified Meeting Professional and holds a Virtual Event & Meeting Management certification. She is fluent in English and Spanish, with working knowledge of French and Portuguese.
